As Is Review of the Current Operations.

To provide management with an assessment of the extent of implementation of Business Controls and proactive HSSE systems in Road Transport operations to ensure that operations are managed efficiently and with risk as low as reasonably possible.

The overall review will cover the following essential elements:

Organisation, Partnership with Transporters, selection,training and evaluation of drivers, fleet management and vehicle configuration, Health, Safety, Security and Environment.

Expected time frame: 3 mandays (2 mandays for office/field review and 1 manday for preperation of the first draft report within 2 weeks)

 

Training Courses- Vision is to optimize fleet and achieve ‘Goal Zero” in road related accidents.

Organization: Robust structure and required parameters for performance measurement

Potential incident & Un-Safe Acts Reporting: Proactive HSSE system in place.

  • Reporting system & Template to be applied;
  • Compilation & Assessment of reports and Timely action.

Journey Management: Accidents Prevention-Improved safety for the crew and road users.

  • review the effectiveness & application of the monitoring controls-GPS tracking system;
  • Monitoring drivers’ work/ rest hours;
  • Monitoring drivers’ road behavior;
  • Journey planning, Rest areas, night driving; and
  • Route Hazard Mapping Methodology

Fleet Management: Optimize Fleet Operations & Reduce Road Exposure.

  • Fleet Planning & Configuration and scheduling;
  • Gate to Gate timings.
  • Vehicles standards; and
  • Preventive Maintenance Schedules.

 

The expected time frame: Each Course of 2 day duration, except 2.4 which is of one day.
