- Legal Framework for International Project Finance
To gain knowledge about assessing the soundness and viability of the proposals, the strategic aims and rationale, the technical proposals, economics & cash flows, commercial & financial arrangements, risk factors –All key factors in preparing & implementing successful project proposals.
Learning outcomes:
- Understand what project finance means in terms of the concepts, approach, commercial structure, risk allocation, documentation and the financing requirements of investors; and
- Participate in corporate or project finance negotiations between co-sponsors, investors, host government, contractors involved in project transactions, and multilateral and commercial lenders.
- Environmental Law and Policy for Energy and Natural Resources
The main objective of the course is to address the principal international & national environmental law and policy issues that impact on the energy and natural resources industries.
Learning outcomes:
- Describe the complex environmental concerns that are associated with the energy and natural resources industries; and
- Advise companies and government departments involved in the energy and natural resources industries about their rights and obligations relating to the environment.
